Mentors are the main contact and influence with our families. They provide care and guidance, encouragement and wisdom. Being a mentor is a challenge that, if you embrace it, will reward you in ways you didn’t anticipate. Mentors must have their own lives together and be connected with a local church. All mentors receive a background check and specialized training. This is a 12 month commitment.
Budget Coach Developer
We’re looking for someone to develop a budget coaching training module. This person should have knowledge of both basic financial management and working with those in poverty/crisis. This commitment lasts until the project is completed (est. 6 months)
Most of our families come to Acts Metro with financial issues. We want to help them sort those issues out. That requires someone who understands budgeting to coach them in basic financial management. and coordinate the budget coaching process.
There are families in Acts Metro that do not have vehicles. They often struggle to get to medical appointments, run errands or attend church. We need several people who can provide rides for our families on occasion or consistently each week.
